Newtownpark Parish Pastoral Centre has grown to be very successful since it opened its doors in October 2018.
We are now recruiting for a new Pastoral Centre Manager to continue the development of the centre as a welcoming facility for Parish and Community activities in the Newtownpark Avenue Area.
Responsibilities of the Manager include Operations Management of the Centre, Staff and Finance Management, Marketing and Communications, Risk Management and Strategic Planning.
This is a part time role which offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the community that serves as a hub for social connection, learning, and personal development;
The objective of the Centre is to act as a centre for catholic ministry within the parish and to assist in building up the community in faith and love and to promote cultural and social activities and service of a Christian nature. It is essential we can respond to the changing needs of those using our Pastoral Centre and treat each person with respect and dignity.
JOB TITLE: Manager, Newtownpark Pastoral Centre (‘the Centre’ hereafter)
REPORTING TO: Parish Priest advised by the Management Committee of the Centre
ROLE & PURPOSE: The Centre Manager is responsible for the effective oversight of the operations, programming, and overall management of the Centre, which hosts a diverse range of user groups. The role focuses on ensuring high standards of service delivery, fostering positive stakeholder engagement, and the efficient management of resources. The Centre Manager will also develop and implement a targeted development plan for the Pastoral Centre, incorporating both short term priorities and longer term strategic objectives, with a view to ensuring the Centre’s ongoing growth and financial sustainability.
